James Garner coming back into the Everton squad has only heightened David Moyes’ success since his return.
Since the Everton midfielder returned from an injury spell at the end of January, Garner has fit like a glove in Moyes’ system.
Now nine games unbeaten in the Premier League, Garner seems to have continued the partnership with Idrissa Gana Gueye that worked well under Sean Dyche.
The hope is that Everton ties Garner down to a new contract, as their £9m move for the 24-year-old in 2022 has proven to be inspiring.
When he first returned from injury, Garner had a chat with Beto which worked out perfectly on the pitch.

James Garner reveals Beto’s promise at Everton which came true
Not only has his move to Everton been inspiring but Garner bouncing back from injury is also inspired.
It’s certainly not the midfielder’s first rodeo in returning from a setback, but Garner has done it flawlessly.
His first start when returning showed exactly what Moyes was missing as Garner starred in Everton’s 4-0 win vs Leicester.

On his return game, the midfielder grabbed an extraordinary assist for Beto as Gianfranco Zola called Garner’s assist ‘magnificent’.
It certainly was a thing of beauty in what is his only assist of the season so far, but what makes the pass even better is what Beto promised Garner before the game, as the midfielder has revealed all to More Than A Match.
“Funnily enough he’s been speaking to me in the last week or two,” Garner said.
“He’s been saying, ‘Keep on passing to me, trust me, you keep on passing to me I’ll score’.
“That was the first thing on my mind (to pass) and he scored (vs Leicester).”

The Friedkin Group must act quickly with Garner’s Everton contract
If Everton want success in the future, Garner must be a part of that.
His pass for Beto against Leicester alone was arguably one of the passes of the season, as it certainly took everyone by surprise.
But it shouldn’t really surprise Evertonians as Garner showed this ability throughout last season, and the fact he is only just returning to full fitness speaks volumes about what The Friedkin Group need to do for the summer.
Garner’s statistics in the Premier League 23/24 season
Games played 37
Pass accuracy 82.8%
Chances created 44
Fouls won 44
Duels won 169
Garner has caught the eye of Thomas Frank, as Brentford could be involved with a long line of clubs looking to sign Garner if Everton don’t act quickly.
