**Ruairi McConville says time is flying as a Norwich City player, six weeks after joining the Canaries on transfer deadline day.**
McConville was signed from Brighton for an initial £1.25million, with sporting director Ben Knapper and head coach Johannes Hoff Thorup both impressed by his potential.
The centre-back has made only two appearances for City since then, both of them coming from the bench, but is enjoying the experience of being at Carrow Road.
"I've loved every single minute of it," he said. "It's a change of surroundings, environment, it's been great and everyone has made me feel very welcome.
"It's madness, even after leaving Brighton it's crazy how quick the time has gone. It's important just for me to live in the moment and enjoy what I'm doing. I am very grateful for the position that I'm in."
McConville is currently away on international duty with Northern Ireland, hoping to add to the two senior caps already to his name in friendlies against Switzerland and Sweden.
The recognition in his homeland has played into that whirlwind in the last few months, having made his debut in a 2-0 Nations League win over Belarus in November last year.
"Crazy really. It's all happened so quickly," he continued, speaking to BBC Sport Northern Ireland. "It all started probably from making my debut, and since then things have changed and it's only been positive for me thankfully.
"It's been down to a lot of hard work and a lot of dedication. Once you get that first feeling \[of international football\], you want to keep it going and build on it.
"It's so encouraging that the opportunity is there to play with boys that you've known nearly your whole life. It's a great feeling and hopefully it will continue for many years to come."
