George Hirst became the fifth Ipswich Town player to represent Scotland at senior level. **Ross Halls** takes a look at the other four.
The 26-year-old was initially left out of Steve Clarke's squad due to a delay in finalising paperwork. However, he was brought in late on and made his debut in their 1-0 victory against Greece in Piraeus.

**CHRISTOPHE BERRA**
The defender was the last player to feature for the Scots while at Portman Road.
Berra had already won 27 caps for his country prior joining the Blues on a free transfer from Wolves in 2013. He featured for Scotland eight times during his time at Town, scoring once.
He played a further six games and notched one goal for his country when he returned to Hearts in 2017.
**ALAN BRAZIL**
The forward made his debut for Scotland as a Town player, winning his first cap in a friendly against Poland in May 1980.
Brazil won a further ten full Scottish caps while at Portman Road. He also featured at the 1982 FIFA World Cup finals in Spain.
He made a further two appearances for Scotland when he was a Spurs player and scored his only goal against Wales in the Home Championships in May 1983.
George Burley went on to manage his country from 2008 and 2009. _(Image: PA)_
**GEORGE BURLEY**
The Town legend won all of his caps while playing for Ipswich, making his debut against Wales in the Home Championships in 1979.
Burley featured 10 more times for his country, mainly in friendlies and qualifiers.
He went on to manage his country in January 2008, but he struggled during his 22 months in charge, winning just three times in 14 games.
**JOHN WARK**
Another Town legend, who made his debut for Scotland in the same game as Burley. He was capped 26 times for his country while playing for Ipswich.
Wark played in all three of Scotland's games in the 1982 World Cup, netting twice in the opening game with New Zealand.
He made a further three appearances for the Scots during his time at Liverpool.
