Tyrone Mings has done himself no favours at Aston Villa in the international break.
The Villans travelled to the United Arab Emirates for a warm-weather training camp as many stars headed out on national team duty.
Ezri Konsa and Morgan Rogers have linked up with England, Youri Tielemans with Belgium and Lucas Digne with France, among others.
With a limited squad available to Unai Emery, his side lined up against UAE outfit Al-Ain and it is safe to say that Mings has only damaged his first-team chances at Villa Park.

Mings makes huge error v Al-Ain
Villa played a friendly at the Hazza bin Zayed Stadium and came away with a 3-1 win to avoid any embarrassment in the Middle East.
Things could have been so different after Mohamed Awad Alla netted the opening goal to give the home side a 1-0 lead after just 12 minutes.

It is safe to say that all the blame for this has to land on Mings’ doorstep as he was caught in two minds on the ball before losing it, leaving the striker through on goal.
This was an uncomfortable watch for any Villa supporters but it won’t leave many of them surprised as the England international does have a mistake in him at times.
In the Premier League, the 32-year-old has been dispossessed on one occasion while also giving away three fouls [FotMob].
The centre-back has also maintained a long-ball accuracy of just 44.9 per cent, which means that he loses the ball more regularly than he completes a lengthy pass.
It is this frequent loss of the ball which will frustrate Emery and isn’t always covered up by his defensive output.
Against Brentford away from home, the former Bournemouth man completed just 17 per cent of long balls and also failed to win a single tackle.
Mings could soon face Aston Villa exit
Mings has represented a steady operator at times this season, especially while Pau Torres has been absent through injury in recent months.
With that being said, the Spaniard’s return at Villa Park could potentially represent the end for the Englishman in the B6 squad.

The mistake, regardless of being in a friendly, is a fresh reminder of the type of errors that the ex-Ipswich Town man can make if given the chance.
This won’t stand him in good stead under Emery who has exceedingly high standards and will have an eye on the summer transfer window already.
With a clash against PSG in the Champions League also on the horizon, errors can’t be accepted and could result in the end of the line for Mings.
