Chelsea are set for a busy summer transfer window. Fabrizio Romano has now provided an insight on the plans of the West London club. He believes that the Blues are set to sign one more winger despite the saturation in that position.

Enzo Maresca is said to be backed by Chelsea board this summer. He will be allowed to bring the players of choice and the Italian has already identified some positions that he wants to improve. Out of them, one is winger position.

The Blues are set to part ways with both Joao Felix and Nkunku this summer. Jadon Sancho has not yet convinced the club and hence his future stays uncertain at the club. In addition, Mudryk is suspended whereas Madueke is attracting interest from AC Milan.

Chelsea said to sign one more winger

Fabrizio Romano who told GiveMeSport that Chelsea are expected to add one more winger to their squad. He said that the Blues are keen to improve the position despite Estevao arriving this summer. In addition, Geovany Quenda will also arrive at West London in summer 2026.

Earlier, Estevao’s agent said that the Blues view the Brazilian as number ten. Hence, Maresca may have some different plans due to which he wants another winger. However, the West London club should first focus on outgoings as they have be hit by PSR.

As for winger, the Blues have been linked with many top talents. They have close tabs on Rafael Leao of AC Milan. The Portugese can cost them €100 million. Second on the list is Jamie Gittens of Borussia Dortmund. He too will cost hefty transfer fee.

Lastly, Chelsea also have Antonie Semenyo on their radar. The Ghanaian is the lowest costing winger out the three. He can be signed for €50 million and will also come with Premier League experience.
