Leeds United attacking midfielder Brenden Aaronson is not with the USMNT squad this international break after being left out by Mauricio Pochettino, but the States have been knocked out of the CONCACAF Nations League without him.
Daniel Farke may have been somewhat relieved to see that Brenden Aaronson won’t be part of the USMNT’s March fixtures, knowing that he’s looked severely lacking in energy and verve in the past few games.
A chance to rest awaited Aaronson this week instead of being involved in CONCACAF Nations League action with Mauricio Pochettino’s United States side.

The recent Copa America had three former Leeds managers representing their nations in the quarter-finals – Jesse Marsch with Canada, Marcelo Bielsa with Uruguay, and Thomas Christiansen with Panama.
Aaronson was watching on hoping that his side could advance to the final of the CONCACAF Nations League with victory in California, as former Leeds teammates Weston McKennie and Tyler Adams featured.

Christiansen impressing with Panama – great to see after Leeds stint
I don’t think there are many Leeds fans that didn’t wish Christiansen well when he left the club, he gave everything to try make it work but it wasn’t to be.
He was a great character and clearly a likeable man in the dugout, and it’s great to see that he’s having success with Panama.
There’s definitely a good club coach there, and his career is worth keeping a close eye on to see how he fares.
