Wolves star Matheus Cunha has been handed an extra one-match ban on top of his three game suspension for kicking out at Bournemouth's Milos Kerkez and headbutting him. The Brazilian has also been given a £50,000 fine for his antics during his side's FA Cup fifth round defeat to the Cherries earlier this month.
Cunha was handed a straight red following the moment of madness and initially banned for three matches, but this has now been upgraded to four games.
The news comes as a huge blow to Wolves and boss Vitor Pereira, who is attempting to stave off the threat of relegation to the Championship.
An FA statement read: "An independent Regulatory Commission has imposed a one-match suspension and £50,000 fine on Matheus Cunha.
"The Wolverhampton Wanderers forward was charged with acting in an improper manner after he was sent off around the 121st minute of their FA Cup tie against AFC Bournemouth on Saturday 1st March.
"The player subsequently admitted the charge. The Regulatory Commission imposed his sanctions following a hearing, and its written reasons for them will be published in due course. Matheus Cunha will now be suspended from domestic football until Sunday 13th April."
