The Golden State Warriors were able to narrowly come away with a victory on Thursday night.
They secured a 117-114 win over the Toronto Raptors in the Chase Center, advancing to 41-29 on the season.
It was every bit of a grind, as Steve Kerr alluded to after the contest, but the Warriors got in the win column once again.
"I feel very fortunate to have escaped that game. It didn't feel good at halftime. I didn't like the feel of the game. The vibe of the game. I had a feeling it was going to be a grind and it was," Kerr said after the win.
To make matters worse for the Warriors, Stephen Curry left the contest with a pelvic injury. Still, a win is a win and they will move forward with optimism that the superstar guard can return to the hardwood.
Evidently, Jimmy Butler's presence is certainly more than a luxury at this point. It's a necessity. However, Draymond Green had quite the message to the rest of the NBA.
Green sends strong message to NBA after Warriors' win
Green was sure to remind the NBA that the league has run through the Bay Area for the past decade.
"We're the Golden State Warriors that have dominated this league for the last 10 years, everybody's going to have their best game [against us]," Green said. "...Guys come in and they play out of their minds when they play against us. It's just always been a thing."

With four NBA titles in the past decade, it's hard to dispute Green's claim, even if they aren't the same dominant team they were at the beginning of their dynasty.
The Warriors are still among the most notable teams because of their dominance and still having Green and Curry on the squad.
