The Friedkin Group have taken a bold stance over Jarrad Branthwaite’s Everton future amid concrete interest from Manchester United.
Branthwaite was courted by Manchester United last summer but the Red Devils did not succumb to Everton’s steep valuation and instead signed Leny Yoro and Matthijs de Ligt.
Manchester United and other top European clubs are expected to revive their interest in the 22-year-old central defender as he continues to shine in the Everton backline.
In fact, Ruben Amorim’s side are prepared to go all out for Branthwaite, reports indicate.

TFG’s stance on Branthwaite links to Manchester United
With Toffees could witness huge squad changes this summer as eight players could leave the club as free agents. While Abdoulaye Doucoure is confirmed to leave the club after Everton did not trigger his one-year extension, there is uncertainty over the rest of the players.

Graeme Bailey spoke to Everton News and laid out The Friedkin Group’s stance on the Branthwaite situation.
He said: “Everton are working on a new contract for Branthwaite. The hope is that he agrees to it sooner rather than later.
“The Friedkins are not looking to sell Branthwaite, and £50 million will not be enough to get Branthwaite anyway – no chance.”

Branthwaite decision showcases TFG’s commitment to Everton
With the new owners trying everything to keep Branthwaite at the club, show their commitment to improving the squad and building the team around exceptional players.
The English centre-back’s sale can generate millions for the club but in turn, they will also lose the services of one of the best young defenders in the world. With Branthwaite just 22 years old, he could be the main man in the defence, around whom the team can be built.
Offering him a new contract also helps in showing Branthwaite the plaudits he deserves at the club and a new deal is a well-earned reward.
While Manchester United do everything in their power to sign the former Carlisle man, Everton’s owners are also prepared to do everything to keep him at the club as they usher into a new era.
