Bronny James of the Los Angeles Lakers has heard all the concerns and questions about him throughout the year.
On Thursday night, he provided a strong response to the critics.
James posted 17 points and five assists and went 7-of-10 from the field during the short-handed Lakers’ loss to the Milwaukee Bucks.
This was the best night of his young career, and a lot of people were talking about it online.
Although some people came out to poke fun and criticize James, a lot of people were praising him and sounded excited for what may come next.

At the start of the season, the internet was filled with hot takes about James, saying he isn’t prepared for the NBA and should have stayed in college or should remain only in the G-League.
Those opinions are still out there, but they grow quieter and quieter after games like this.

Beyond his output on the floor, there are many NBA fans who want the best for James because they feel he is a “good kid, and a good hooper” who doesn’t deserve the backlash he has experienced.

One strong game won’t erase the doubts about Bronny, but it definitely had Lakers fans talking and excited for the rookie.
