Anthony Gordon has been spilling the beans on his Newcastle United teammates.
While this team are now legendary after Newcastle United won the Carabao Cup and ended the club’s trophy drought, one of Anthony Gordon’s teammates is a ‘complete disgrace’ behind the scenes.
Gordon and Bruno Guimaraes have appeared on the Pro Direct Soccer YouTube channel, and were asked to name the Toon player who is the kitman’s worst nightmare.
For both players, there could only be one answer.

Anthony Gordon answers Newcastle United dressing room question
Gordon and Bruno had to write their answer on a whiteboard, with both players revealing their answer to be Alexander Isak.
Bruno: “His place [in the dressing room] is a mess, be honest.”
Gordon: “His corner in the changing room is a disgrace. A complete disgrace. It’s just constantly a mess. There’s like 20 pairs of boots.”
Nothing messy about Alexander Isak on the pitch
Clearly Isak is too busy thinking about scoring goals to worry about tidying up his section of the changing room!
While he might be a mess behind the scenes, there is no way you could describe him as that on the pitch.

The 25-year-old is on course to eclipse what he achieved last season. In the 2023/24 campaign, Isak scored 25 goals in all competitions. It was the best campaign of his career.
With 10 games remaining, Isak is currently on 23 goals in all competitions. His most recent strike was at Wembley, with Isak scoring in the Carabao Cup final victory over Liverpool.
He will surely surpass his tally from last season, and it will be interesting to see whether or not he can reach the 30-goal milestone. Emil Krafth predicted Isak will reach 30 goals at the start of the season, and that remains a possibility.
The last Newcastle United player to do that was Alan Shearer in the 1999/2000 season. The Toon legend scored 30 goals.
The only other players to score 30 goals in a season for Newcastle are Andy Cole, Micky Quinn, Alan Gowling, Pop Robson, George Robledo, Charlie Wayman and Hughie Gallacher.
