With the current quarterback situation within the Cleveland Browns organization, it's highly likely that will be the team's target in next month's NFL Draft in Green Bay.
With 10 total picks, there will be opportunities to add to the quarterback room in just about every round. But it's the No. 2 pick that most feel the Browns will use for a franchise signal caller.
And ESPN's Bill Barnwell knows why it's important for Cleveland to pick a quarterback in the draft this year.
"The ability to get a quarterback on a rookie deal, something that we know is extremely valuable," Barnwell said on the Mina Kimes show. "Even if you think that Shedeur Sanders is going to be an average NFL quarterback… the low-end starters in the NFL are making about as much as superstar receivers (are making)... I know there is questions about Sanders but none of these guys are sure things."
Of the quarterbacks who will be available, two-Shedeur Sanders and Cam Ward-have set themselves apart from the others and are expected to be the first two taken.
But since the Combine, Shedeur Sanders' stock has fallen a bit and Ward appears to be the golden child.

What the Browns do at No. 2 could be dictated by what the Titans do at No. 1. If Ward is available at No. 2, he could be the obvious choice for Cleveland.
