Warriors’ Steph Curry Expected to Miss Multiple Weeks Due to Significant Injury

The Golden State Warriors are playing some of their best basketball of the season. They have won nine of their last ten games and are a completely different team now that they have acquired Jimmy Butler at the trade deadline.

Butler gives them a great second-scoring option who can also make plays. He's the perfect player to pair next to Stephen Curry, who loves to cut off the ball.

Curry is still playing some great basketball, even at the age of 35. He's having an All-NBA kind of season and is still the best player on the team.

Unfortunately for the Warriors, Curry was just hurt in a game against the Raptors. He ended up leaving the game because of a hip injury that required them to get an MRI on it.

The results of the MRI are in, and it's not great news for the Warriors moving forward. It looks like he could miss a couple of weeks.

While it doesn't look like the Warriors will be without him for an extended period of time, they will be without him for the next few days. The good news for Golden State is that it is a very easy start to the road trip for them.

Golden State is starting that road trip against Atlanta, Miami, and New Orleans. Only Atlanta is a dangerous team when it comes to an offensive explosion, so the Warriors might not need Curry to win those first few games.

The biggest thing that the Warriors need to prioritize is being healthy when the playoffs roll around. That's the biggest issue that this team faces as April rolls around.

Golden State needs a healthy Curry and a healthy Butler in order to contend for the NBA title. If they can both be healthy, they believe that they have a shot to win it all. That's how well they've played with Butler on the roster.

With an injury like this, they might even hold Curry out a little bit longer just to be on the safe side. They want to make sure he's 100 percent healthy for the playoff run.

So far this season, Curry is averaging 24.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, and six assists per game. He is also shooting 44.7 percent from the field and 39.4 percent from beyond the 3-point line.
