Liverpool’s summer transfer plans could be dramatically shaped by the future of Trent Alexander-Arnold, with Real Madrid heavily linked to the vice-captain.
As uncertainty lingers over his contract situation, the club is actively exploring potential replacements, and Jeremie Frimpong has emerged as a leading candidate.
According to reports, Frimpong has been in regular contact with Arne Slot, with the Dutch manager keen on bringing his fellow countryman to Anfield.

BILD journalist Christian Falk reveals that Frimpong and Slot were in frequent contact throughout February.
Slot, who reportedly wanted to sign the Bayer Leverkusen fullback last summer, has reiterated his interest in securing him for Liverpool’s new era.
“Jeremie Frimpong and Arne Slot were on the phone a lot last month. Both are Dutch, and Slot wanted to sign him in the summer,” Falk told CaughtOffside.
