During the offseason, Cleveland Browns fans occasionally vote in SB Nation Reacts to express their confidence level in the team or their thoughts on other topics.
With at least one week of free agency in the books, we decided to poll Browns fans to see what grade they gave the team for their signing efforts. Note: this poll was run before a couple of recent moves.
It included the likes of extending DE Myles Garrett, adding QB Kenny Pickett, and adding some depth on the offensive line and defensive line. It has been the type of free agency period that makes it seem like the Browns are going to focus more on the draft when it comes to improving the team, while utilizing free agency to fill in some gaps on the depth chart.
For that, fans are giving the Browns a āCā for their free agent grade, as 41% went with that. Fans are actually leaning slightly more toward the pessimistic side when you consider that 27% awarded a āD,ā compared to 1% for an A, 18% for a B, and 13% for an F.
On a national scale, fans believe the Chicago Bears have had the best free agency period, followed by the Washington Commanders. No teams from the AFC North made the top of the list.
