During the second round of the 2024 Draft last season, the Washington Commanders traded back from the second-round with their division rival in the Philadelphia Eagles.
Washington picked up multiple picks and ended up taking strong young cornerback Mike Sainristil out of Michigan. The Eagles, meanwhile, traded up for Iowa star cornerback Cooper DeJean and saw the youngster help lead the team to a Super Bowl title.
It's safe to say while the Eagles ended up winning the early portion of the trade, both teams came away with strong players.
That's why one particular analyst believes another trade could be on the way between the division rivals.
Chris Trapasso of CBS Sports predicts the Eagles will trade up in the second round again and end up drafting Arkansas edge rusher Landon Jackson. The edge rusher is a highly athletic player who Alex Crabbs of the 33rd team believes will be a steal wherever he ends up.

"He's got a highly intriguing blend of skills for a variety of different schemes and roles," Crabbs said. "He has linear power that makes him a handful at the point of attack and appears to have the ability to compress the edges of the pocket and reduce his angles to the quarterback to ensure passing down value at the next level."
It wouldn't be the best of things for the Commanders to essentially make another draft day trade with their division rival and direct competition for the NFC title like they did the year prior.
So while this trade idea is interesting, Washington may better be suited to keep the pick and draft Dickerson himself.
