The Colorado Buffaloes' solid season under coach Deion Sanders became national news this past year, heading toward the 2025 NFL draft.

The draft is expected to include the selections of Sanders' son Shedeur Sanders and his teammate Travis Hunter among the top ten overall picks, illustrating the incredible job done by the former Dallas Cowboys cornerback in Boulder, Colorado.

Sanders' diffused the situation with Friday morning comments imploring readers to focus on the lighter side, which prompted a call-out issued by Samuel Sr. later that evening.

The weight you're carrying creates undesired pressure that's difficult to maintain. Please eliminate that heavy burden that you're transporting from moment to moment & place to place. Life ain't suppose to be this heavy when God is involved. #CoachPrime
