Arsenal have already had one of their players finalise a pre-contract agreement with another club and they could lose two more members of the first-team before the summer transfer window opens.
In the Celtic interim report - released earlier this year - club chairman Peter Lawwell confirmed an impending return north of the border for Kieran Tierney next season. Jorginho and Thomas Partey are also in the final three months of their contracts, with the former linked with returning to his native Brazil, as Flamengo are said to be keen.
Partey is also reported to be of interest to Barcelona, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain. The Gunners, though, are reputedly in talks with signing a free-agent-to-be.
Here are the latest news, views and Arsenal transfer rumours;
'Active and concrete negotiations'
Arsenal are claimed to be one of three Premier League clubs "in talks" with the representatives of Jonathan David. According to the French tabloid newspaper Le 10 Sport, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are the other two.
football.london says: If the Gunners are only facing competition from Manchester United and Spurs, at this stage, surely they must be favourites to sign David? Only one of those clubs can qualify for the Champions League next season and they would have to win the Europa League if they do, which is far from a foregone conclusion with the quarter-finals yet to begin.
'Ready to offer contract' for ex-City star
Arsenal are reportedly readying a contract offer for Leroy Sane, with the former Manchester City player months away from becoming a free agent. CaughtOffside, however, says that the player would have to reduce his wage demands before any move materialises.
football.london says: Sane is thought to earn weekly wages upwards of £300,000 and that's potentially closer to £400,000. Whichever amount would place the winger among Arsenal's highest-earning players, if not their best-paid. After turning 29 earlier this year, it's hard to argue Sane would be signing as the outstanding player in Mikel Arteta's squad.
