Manchester City announced their pricing structure for this season on March 20 2024. So by that metric prices for next season is overdue.
City fans are expecting an announcement and hoping for the best while fearing the worst. The club's fan groups have sent an open letter to chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak asking for a price freeze among other requests.

Prices for the current season rose by an average of five per cent, with a high of 11 per cent for some tickets, from the previous campaign. There has been just one price freeze in the last nine years - from 2019/20 to 2021/20 either side of a season without supporters due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
There have been no new season tickets provided to supporters since 2021, with last season seeing a new product replacing an old one. The Flexi Gold replaced the Silver Season Ticket, with the new option costing £150 up front before supporters get priority to purchase their selected seat for each game.
As long as Flexi Gold members attend 10 games they retain their ticket for the following season, and have the option to opt out of any game. If they purchase tickets for each game it equals the price of a Gold ticket, before the up front cost.
Fans have called for that £150 cost to be scrapped, either in total or in cases of members attending each game of the season. City reported a 8.2/10 satisfaction response from Flexi Gold members and are reviewing the use of the ticket ahead of the renewal announcement.
Supporter groups have also asked for new season tickets to be made available, especially with the expected opening of the new 7,000-seat North Stand expansion in 2026. Ticketing decisions are yet to be finalised regarding that development which would open during the season.
City have compared their prices to Premier League rivals in the past and the trend elsewhere in the top flight doesn't offer much indication as to whether prices will go up or stay the same.
Manchester United, Newcastle, Brighton and Nottingham Forest have raised prices by an average of five per cent, while Arsenal upped prices by 3.7 per cent. Everton's prices at the new Bramley Moore Dock stadium are up 15 per cent from Goodison Park ticket costs.
On the other hand, Liverpool, Tottenham, West Ham, Leicester and Brentford have earned praise for freezing prices after fan protests. Chelsea, Aston Villa, Crystal Palace, Wolves. Bournemouth, Fulham, Ipswich and Southampton are yet to reveal their pricing plans.
City fans will hope their letters and fan movements will have been heard when the prices are confirmed.
