Additionally, Pacers guard-forward Andrew Nembhard received a $20,000 fine for his role in initiating the incident, as announced by Joe Dumars, the NBA's Executive Vice President and Head of Basketball Operations.

The altercation began when Nembhard and Watford became entangled. The situation quickly escalated when Watford delivered a right forearm to the chest of Nembhard.

Turner then joined in, shoving Watford, further intensifying the confrontation. As a result, Watford was assessed two technical fouls and ejected from the game. Turner and Nembhard also received technical fouls for their involvement.

The incident occurred with 4:48 remaining in the fourth quarter of the Pacers’ 105-99 overtime victory over the Nets at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
