Wolves supporters will feel more confident about their prospects under the guidance of Vitor Pereira.
In the first half of the season, Gary O’Neil was in charge at Molineux, and he threatened to lead them back to the Championship.
O’Neil won just two of their first 16 matches, leaving Wolves marooned inside the bottom three by four points before being replaced by Vitor Pereira in December.
The Portuguese tactician has since rescued a sinking ship, with the Old Gold pulling nine points clear of safety with only nine games left.
With the March international break in full swing, Molineux News has looked at the five highest-rated Wolves players, according to Sofascore.

Matt Doherty, the newly transformed centre-back takes second place with an average Sofascore rating of 7.01 but the player joint with him in third position is a baffling inclusion.

MORE WOLVES STORIES
Mario Lemina, who joined Galatasaray permanently in February, entered the top five in the list despite how shocking he was in the first half of the campaign.
In the loss to Newcastle United in January, Lemina refused to play, and that moment was what ultimately turned Wolves fans against him and saw him exit the club.
While the midfielder’s inclusion is very questionable, no one can argue against Rayan Ait-Nouri and Andre featuring.
Ait-Nouri has the second goal involvement of any defender in the Premier League, joint with Trent Alexander-Arnold, while Andre has been sensational.
How Mario Lemina is getting on at Galatasaray
Wolves decision to sell Lemina was made easier by seeing his contract expire in the summer of 2025, with the midfielder returning to Turkey.
The Gabon international has made five appearances in the Turkish Super Lig, scoring in the draw against Kasimpasa while laying on an assist in the win over Caykur Rizespor.
It’s been a decent start to life for Lemina at Galatasaray, although he did start the last two games on the bench, suggesting he isn’t as nailed in the starting lineup as many would have imagined.
Interestingly, before he made the switch, Pereira planned on reintegrating Lemina into the squad. But luckily, a club took him off his hands as that decision would have sparked controversy in the fanbase.
