Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam has reportedly warned of potential renewal of military operations after Israel countered cross-border rocket fire from Lebanon with heavy airstrikes.
According to Times of Israel, Salam has stated, "All security and military measures must be taken to show that Lebanon decides on matters of war and peace", after Israel struck towns in Lebanon in response to the rocket launch.
Lebanon reportedly launched rockets towards northern Israel. The offensive between Israel and Lebanon comes months after Israel and Hezbollah ended a year-long war with a truce.
