Aaron Rodgers, a four-time NFL MVP and one of the most accomplished quarterbacks of his generation remains unsigned as March winds down. But that could be changing soon.
On Friday, Aaron Rodgers visited the Pittsburgh Steelers' facility, spending time with coaches and key staff members, according to a report by NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
The visit doesn't guarantee a deal is close, and no agreement is imminent, but the 41-year-old quarterback making the trip to Pittsburgh signals something that fans have been waiting to see: movement.
Aaron Rodgers is weighing three options, per reports-signing with the Pittsburgh Steelers, joining the New York Giants, or stepping away from football entirely.
The Minnesota Vikings were once considered a dark horse. Still, they have reportedly decided to move forward with 2024 first-round pick J.J. McCarthy after his rookie year was lost to injury.
The #Steelers and Aaron Rodgers have had contract parameters in place for weeks, sources say, and money wasn't a discussion point during today's visit. It was a chance for both sides to get to know each other.

For Pittsburgh Steelers fans, this is a moment of optimism. The team has been searching for a long-term answer at quarterback since Ben Roethlisberger's retirement, and Aaron Rodgers-despite his age-would immediately elevate Pittsburgh Steelers into AFC contention.
In 2024, Rodgers quietly finished in the top 10 in passing yards and touchdown passes, even as his former team, the New York Jets, floundered to a 5–12 record.
The New York Jets' disappointing season and organizational overhaul led to Aaron Rodgers' release shortly after the free agency period began on March 12. Since then, speculation has followed him at every turn.
Inside the Pittsburgh Steelers locker room, the waiting game hasn't gone unnoticed. Veteran defensive lineman Cameron Heyward recently voiced some frustration, calling for a clear yes-or-no decision on Aaron Rodgers.
That frustration might be part of what nudged the veteran QB to begin face-to-face meetings, even if a deal isn't yet on the table.
So no, Aaron Rodgers isn't a Pittsburgh Steeler-at least not yet. But for the first time since he hit the open market, there's a sense that his next move might finally be on the horizon.
