Broncos Projected to Land 5-Time Pro Bowl Weapon for Bo Nix

The Denver Broncos were one of the biggest pleasant surprises during the 2024 NFL season. With rookie quarterback Bo Nix leading the way, they were able to make a run to the playoffs.

So far this offseason, the Broncos have made a few high-quality moves.

Two of those moves were bringing in former San Francisco 49ers star linebacker Dre Greenlaw and signed former 49ers safety Talanoa Hufanga. Both of those additions will help improve the defensive side of the football.

Adding more talent around Nix and the offense should still be a priority for Denver.

With that in mind, the Broncos have been projected to land a five-time Pro Bowl weapon for their young quarterback.

Cody Benjamin of CBS Sports has predicted that Denver will sign longtime star wide receiver Amari Cooper.

"The former Pro Bowler has had a curiously quiet market for a guy just traded for a third-round pick during the 2024 season, signaling league-wide concern over how much he's got left in the tank," Benjamin wrote. "Yet Denver could use additional safety valves for young quarterback Bo Nix, and Cooper's long been a solid technician."

Cooper is coming off of a down year split between the Cleveland Browns and Buffalo Bills.

During the 2024 season, he totaled 14 total games played. In those 14 games, Cooper caught 44 passes for 547 yards and four touchdowns.

At 30 years old, the down season is concerning. Age could be starting to catch up to him.

However, back in 2023, Cooper caught 72 passes for 1,250 yards and five touchdowns. He would be well worth taking a flier on to help Nix.
