The transfer rumour mill is busier than ever, with Aston Villa rumoured to be building for a busy winter window with an even busier summer transfer list.

With a whole host of loans coming to an end, players returning, and contracts ending, Unai Emery's side is set for a shake-up before the new season begins.

The window officially opens on Friday, June 14 but that hasn't stopped clubs already trying to create plans and deals to bolster their squad's ahead of the new season.

Aston Villa's incredible Champions League and Unai Emery's managerial reputation has also helped the club to be linked with a new class of high calibre player which could cement The Villans as a top European side.

With rumours he want's everything from a £70 million Turkish wonderkid, to a veteran five time Champions League winner, here's all the latest Aston Villa transfer news.

The England international has been the talk of Birmingham since joining Villa Park in the last hours of the winter window. Shocking many for finally leaving Manchester United, the forward has found his old form already at Aston Villa, impressing so much he was rewarded with his old spot in the England squad.

Rashford, who has scored 138 goals in 426 games for Man United, still has three years left on his contract at Old Trafford from this summer, but Villa have the option of completing a permanent move for a fee in the region of £40m once this season ends, if it's a deal which suits all parties - something that is looking more and more likely to be completed.

Aston Villa have been linked with making a big money move for highly rated Juventus forward Kenan Yildiz.

The Turkish international has caught the eye of several of Europe's top teams after working his way into Juventus' first team set-up last summer but with The Old Lady chasing a whopping €80 million (around £65 million) for the 19-year-old he may be at the top of Villa's price range.

The article reckons Chelsea want to sell Felix but would be amenable to another loan deal and that there is ‘some interest’ in Villa in permanent transfer.

Marco Asensio could be coming to Villa Park on a permanent deal

The Spanish midfielder has already impressed at Villa Park since joining in January and has quickly become a key part of Unai Emery's side forging a special and deadly link with fellow loanee Marcus Rashford.

Showing that he still has the ability he had in Madrid, Asensio has already bagged seven goals in eight games and quickly become a favourite of both the fans and of Unai Emery.

His initial loan has now option to buy with the midfielder due to head back to Paris in the summer, however Villa and PSG are reportedly keen on making the move permanent in a €15 million deal.

According to Turkish newspaper Sabah (via Sport Witness), Villa are expected to try their luck for the 19-year-old for a third time when the transfer window opens.

It is claimed they made two bids for Kilicsoy last summer but their offer of €16 million (£13m), plus €2m (£1.6m) in bonuses, was not enough to tempt Besiktas to sell.

Asked if the manager will look to keep both Coutinho manager Fábio Carille said: "We’ll wait. On the technical side, yes, but we have to look at the financial side, and other things about the club."
