The Friedkins will now be planning ahead for their first summer transfer window at Everton.
David Moyes has been able to pull the club clear from any danger of relegation in the final weeks of the Premier League campaign.
Since arriving back on Merseyside, Moyes has said Everton will not make decisions until they’re safe.
Although Everton are not mathematically safe, the Toffees have been able to create a big enough gap on the bottom three that has eased the pressure.
Everton are expected to have a big summer of transfers, with plenty of players set to leave the club at the end of the term when their contracts end.
However, there is one European club who are looking to fend off any interest from Merseyside ahead of the summer.

Everton did show an interest in Galatasaray’s Yunus Akgun, though.
According to A Spor, Galatasaray are now prepared to make Akgun one of their top earners with a bumper new deal.
This comes amid interest from the Premier League for the former Leicester City player.
His current contract has an €11m (£9m) release clause, which Galatasaray are keen to remove as they aim for at least €20m (£16.8m).
Everton could allow Jack Harrison to return to Leeds this summer as they need to decide on whether he has a permanent future on Merseyside.
He may not be the only departure, with Jesper Lindstrom finding himself in exactly the same boat.
Victor Osimhen has helped Yunus Akgun develop
He may not be a household name in England, but Akgun is certainly proving his worth over in Turkey.
Akgun has enjoyed a seriously impressive 2024/25 campaign with some solid returns across all competitions from the wing.

Moyes has demanded more from Harrison and Lindstrom, with the pair failing to provide regular goal contributions like the Turkey international is doing.
Playing his football with Galatasaray, Akgun has even admitted he has been receiving a lot of help from the renowned Victor Osimhen.
“Icardi and Osimhen are great players and very high-quality people. I am very happy to be on the field with them. Of course, the support they give me is very important to me,” he said.
