With the 2024/25 Premier League season reaching the business end of the campaign, thoughts will soon start turning to the 2025/26 season.
As ever there will be plenty of excitement ahead of the new campaign around the release of the fixtures list as well as the new kits the players will be wearing.
There have already been plenty of leaks, as is often the case at this time of year, as to what the official shirts will be when the time comes for the teams to walk out onto the pitch for the new season.
But while the official thing is highly anticipated, there's a growing market in football for concept kits too. There is a growing community of people who want unique, artistic shirts that are designed, either by designers on computers, or run through artificial intelligence.
So here at football.london we thought we would try and have a piece of that market too. We asked our designers to run Arsenal home and away kits through AI to see what concept kits it came up with. And some of the results are extraordinary.
We've got both home and away versions - sometimes third kits are wacky enough to be concept kits themselves - to see what Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice etc could be walking out onto the Emirates Stadium turf in.
Home kits
First up let's take a look at the home kits. Obviously we told the AI to make sure each kit produced was red - no one's going away from that tradition in a hurry - but aside from that, it was a case of anything goes.
There is plenty of white in the ones that came through the AI, which, looking at previous Arsenal home kits is pretty standard. The offerings ranged from full, plain red as shown in this photo, to varying degrees of white being thrown in.

The one above brings white into the shorts, with it looking like red paint has run onto white shorts.
Then below, we've got a kit that has white side panels and a white trim at the bottom of the shirt and the hem of the sleeves.

Those two above - and the one below - are probably the closest to what the actual new 2025/26 kits could look like. The next shirt is plain red with some white on the sleeves and plain white shorts with the three Adidas stripes down the side.

Then we get into some more out there thinking when it comes to the home shirts. The first is fairly low-key, with a white top quarter and gold trim on the sleeves.

The next two are then red and white spattered, one with white and gold around the neck and with gold Adidas stripes on the shoulder and sleeve trim.
The final one then has red stripes, with more white spatter coming into the main shirt, which would seem unlikely given the colour of Arsenal's north London rivals Tottenham's shirt.
Away kits
It is in the away kits that the AI has decided to have some fun. And that's not abnormal for actual kit creators to be fair.
There are always some different and eclectic designs when it comes to away and third kits, as well as goalkeeper shirts, and the AI has thrown up some brilliant options.

This first one is probably our favourite. A nice blue number with flecks of gold in it and a gold trim. We could see the team running out in this away from home.

Then, as you can see above, the AI really likes a bit of orange! We're not sure Arsenal have ever had an orange kit, but does the computer know something we don't about the 2025/26 kits to come?
We've got a full orange kit, orange with hints of white and then orange with some blue in.

Then we come to this one above, which brings in the paint splatter effect again, with an orange base and some blue spatter, which we can also get behind.
Finally we have a lovely gold and white kit.

Perhaps we should save a gold kit until the Gunners claim a trophy? Which, given they're in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, could still happen...
