Liverpool men’s team may not be in action this weekend, but there is still a match going on at Anfield as Liverpool Legends take on Chelsea Legends.

The match is being held to raise funds for various charities.

All of the proceeds from the match will be donated to the LFC Foundation as supporting beneficiaries, including Forever Reds, Chelsea FC Foundation and Chelsea Players' Trust.

The game will see legends including Sami Hyypia, Steven Gerrard and Dirk Kuyt take to the Anfield Turf again, being led by Sir Kenny Dalglish while Peter Crouch will return to Anfield as a player for the first time since his departure in 2008.

"It will be massive for me, for my little boy to see me - he missed out, he's only five - so for him to see me pull on the red shirt again and play at Anfield will be a huge moment for our family," Crouch said.

"It's amazing how many ex-players end up supporting the club or want to be a part of the club. It's something really special."

They will take on the likes of Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, Gianfranco Zola and John Obi Mikel, who have been named in Chelsea's squad.
