Arcade Motion 01 e1741663283163
REVIEW – I previously reviewed the ArcadeA2 Stretch belt and theirNational Geographic 1888 and both perform great although the Nat Geo belt buckle is a little too wide for some of my pants. The newArcade Motion levels up your everyday look with a sleeker more refined look.

What is it?
The Arcade Motion belt is a sleeker and classier belt for play and work but maintains all the features I like in their stretchy belts. The Motion is 40” long and 1.5” wide to fit most waists and pants. For waists over 36” they do make long belts which fit up to 50”. Arcade belts feature all day stretch comfort that is infinitely adjustable and lightweight.

Design and features
The Arcade Motion at first glance is a little shinier than their other webbing which is made from 85% post consumer recycled REPREVE© polyester. The website does not state what the Motion webbing is made from but an email to their very responsive customer support they told me it is made from recycled polypropylene which is similar to nylon.
The Motion weighs in at only 2.22oz even though there is metal used in the Motion. One of the best features of Arcade belts is their metal free airport security friendly design. The Motion contains zinc alloy pushers inside the buckle and the female end cap is zinc alloy which might set off a metal detector. If you don’t want to take the chance the Momentum is another belt in their classier Lifestyle line and is 100% metal free and travel friendly.

The buckle is just under 42mm or 1.65″ wide with the belt webbing at 35mm or 1.37″ which fits most of my pants. The tapered buckle slides through loops easily but sometimes the sharp notches on the side will catch. Not sure why they didn’t round that off but not a big deal.
The other difference between the Motion and their other belts is the female end is on the outside instead of the inside. I may try and switch that later because I like the cleaner look of my other belts. It did allow for easy adjustment while wearing it though.

Final thoughts
Arcade Motion 20 e1741664913115
The Arcade Motion is definitely a classier offering to their lineup that will be my new go to when I need to dress a little nicer but still want to be comfortable. I’ll test out whether it will get through TSA the next time I fly but otherwise the Motion is a home run in my books.
