Leeds United’s teen talent Harry Gray is reportedly of interest to clubs in the Premier League, and the club will be eager to get him tied down to professional terms as soon as possible.
Daniel Farke has been keen to play down the talents of Harry Gray in terms of first team recognition, but there’s no denying that it won’t be long before he’s following his brother Archie’s footsteps with a senior debut if he keeps up his impressive development.
The issue that Leeds have is that clubs higher up the food chain are constantly aware of players possessing talent like Gray does, and will be circling to make offers soon enough.

A report from TBR Football this week has revealed that Gray is already attracting scouts from Premier League clubs that are looking to add the striker to their youth setup.
One of the clubs in the running is said to be Tottenham, who have already spent £40million on signing his older brother Archie in the summer of 2024.
The other two are Spurs’ North London rivals Arsenal, as well as recent EFL Cup winners Newcastle United.
Ideal news for Leeds is that they are confident of retaining the striker, who has already been training with Farke’s first team this season while featuring regularly in the U21s since overcoming a back injury during pre-season.

Leeds may need to wait until October to tie down Gray to professional deal

The problem for Leeds with Gray and potential clubs looking to poach is that they are largely powerless to stopping a Premier League club from convincing him to make the switch.
They saw that unfold with Finlay Gorman choosing to leave Thorp Arch for Manchester City’s academy last season.
Luckily for Leeds, Gray of course has a strong bond with the club through his family’s history at Elland Road, alongside his brother making his Leeds debut last season too.
However, if they want to move as soon as possible to tie down the 16-year-old striker to professional terms and rule out the possibility of him being snapped up, they will have to wait until his 17th birthday to secure an agreement – which is in early October.
Until then, Leeds will just continue developing the teenager with a view to him emerging as a senior player in the near future.
