Joint security forces have intensified their drives throughout the city, accompanied by an increase in army patrols and check posts.
Army men were witnessed conducting intensified patrols and establishing checkposts in several strategic areas including Rampura, Shantinagar, Kakrail, Baitul Mukarram, Bijoy Sarani, Mohakhali, Gulshan, and Khilkhet.
The drives are part of an effort to ensure law and order amid rising tensions in the capital.
