Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr are looking to make a move for Gabriel Magalhaes.

Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta reportedly dropped Gabriel Magalhaes from the team due to interest from Saudi Arabia. That interest could come back after contact from Al Nassr recently.
The Brazil international made a £24 million transfer from French club Lille to the Emirates in September 2020. And he is now a vital player of Arteta’s side. He and William Saliba has made one of the best central defensive pairing in the Premier League.
However, transfer expert Ben Jacobs reported interest from the Saudis earlier this week. And Cristiano Ronaldo’s club are planning an big summer bid’ for the 27-year-old.
Arteta sees him as a ‘key part of his plans. But UAE outfit ‘are willing to offer’ him €20million (£16.8m) a season. That is ‘around three times of his current salary’ at the Emirates, and also tax free.
The report states that the Brazilian ‘is open to going to Saudi Arabia at some time in his career. Although, his immediate ‘priority’ is with his team in England. And winning this season’s Champions League is the main target this season.
The north London side want to start talks to extend his contract. His deal has two years left to run. However, they are not looking to listen any offer lower than €100m (£84.1m).
Al Nassr are keen on the star defender
TalkSport reports that Al Nassr is very interested in signing Magalhaes. They are ready with an huge offer worth around 20 million euros. That amount is three times what he earns at Arsenal.
The Gunners sporting director Andrea Berta hinted they intend to keep the defender by extending his contract that runs until 2027. They are likely to reject offers below 100 million euros for the player.
