Heung-Min Son says Man City have a player on their books who is the strongest he’s ever seen

Manchester City have some remarkably strong players in their squad.

Indeed, there are a number of players in the City squad who are renowned for their strength.

Manuel Akanji is one of the strongest players at City according to Oscar Bobb, while Mathys Tel has suggested that Erling Haaland is the strongest player in football.

Meanwhile, Claude Makelele has said that Kevin De Bruyne is one of the strongest players around.

This City team has been dominant for a long time, and that is partially down to their ability to outfight and outmuscle their opposition.

Speaking to Goal, Heung-Min Son has been asked to name the strongest player he’s ever seen, and he actually named another player on City’s books as his answer.

Heung-Min Son says Kyle Walker is the strongest player he’s ever seen

Son was asked to name the strongest footballer he has ever seen.

The Korean didn’t have to think for very long before naming Kyle Walker as the strongest player he’s seen.

Of course, Son and Walker know each other very well from their time together at Tottenham.

Walker is currently out on loan at AC Milan, but he remains contracted to City.

Cesc Fabregas has previously commented on Walker’s strength, and he certainly does have the physical capabilities to bully his opponents.

Son and Walker have had a number of battles over the years as the Spurs winger has come up against the England full-back.

Tottenham have famously been City’s bogey team over the years, but Son still can’t boast a winning record against Walker.

Son has scored plenty of goals against Walker over the years, but he has only scored once in his last seven matches against the £50m defender.

Of course, once upon a time, Son and Walker were teammates at Tottenham, and they had a stellar record together at Spurs, particularly against Manchester City.

The old saying is ‘if you can’t beat them, join them’. But with Walker, City very much took the approach of ‘if you can’t beat them, sign them’ as they signed Walker from Spurs off the back of a run of terrible results against the full-back, particularly when he was in the same team as Son.
