One thing is for certain about the Washington Commanders under Adam Peters and Dan Quinn's new regime -they mean business.
After a superb first season that yielded a 12-5 record plus two playoff wins and an NFC Championship appearance, Peters was proactive in the early days of the offseason, agreeing to a trade for Deebo Samuel and then trading for Laremy Tunsil to fix two of the biggest needs on offense.
Who needs draft picks?
The Commanders aren't in the mood to develop young players, they want proven winners and veteran players who can help win the team a Super Bowl.
For Bleacher Report, in describing every team's offseason work with one word, landed on "determined" for the Commanders.
"Washington did exactly what it needed to do to ensure Jayden Daniels can keep blossoming in 2025 by adding difference-makers Deebo Samuel and Laremy Tunsil," Bleacher Report writes. "And it fine-tuned beyond that. Really well played from a team on the rise."
It's hard to argue with that.
The Commanders knew that receiver and left tackle were two of the biggest problems on the roster, and with a quarterback on just the second year of his deal, the time to strike is now, and Washington has done just that.

The franchise under Quinn and Peters know the plan, and thus far, one could say it's been executed to near perfection.
Yes, there are still needs, but those can be covered in the draft or with another signing or two in free agency, but the one thing we know about Commanders entering the 2025 season is clear.
They aren't here to take part; they're here to take over.
