Erling Haaland makes feelings clear amid Manchester City's 115 charges battle

Erling Haaland says he is not afraid of the potential punishment that Manchester City could face following their alleged breach of 115 Premier League rules.

Many Premier League clubs, such as Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham, are still awaiting the result from the three month hearing related to Man City's supposed breach of the financial regulations.

Pep Guardiola told the press in early February that he expected a verdict in March. Despite the month coming to a close, there is still time for the conclusion to be made and a possible punishment to be given. However, Man City striker Haaland isn't worried about the outcome.

He told ESPN ahead of Norway's World Cup qualifier against Moldova: "I don't do that, obviously, when I sign a nine-and-a-half year contract

"I've said 300 times why I signed the contract. I talked to the club, got a good feeling and agreed to it in the end. That's why."

When Haaland and Guardiola signed contract extensions with the club, there was a suggestion from fans across the Premier League that the two City icons committing their future to the club, pointed towards a City victory in their ongoing legal battle.

However, neither Guardiola or Haaland would have expected a significant drop in performance from the current Premier League champions this season. City are well out of the title race and battling it out with Chelsea for a Champions League spot.

"That's how it is sometimes," the Norwegian striker continued. "It's been different when you've won the Premier League both years and not been in the title race. But you can't win every year.

"Now it's about securing a Champions League place, and do something you can do something about: Win the FA Cup."

Manchester City could be have their domestic honours taken away from them from the nine-year period in question, if they are to be found guilty of breaching the Premier League's financial regulations.

This could benefit Arsenal as they finished runners-up to the Manchester club in Guardiola's two most recent Premier League title winning campaigns.
