Fans React To Andrew Wiggins’ Big Performance On Friday

Andrew Wiggins had his best game as a Miami Heat member on Friday night and a lot of people noticed.

Wiggins was celebrated online after a strong showing against the Houston Rockets.

As noted by Hoop Central, Wiggins was on fire during the second quarter, earning 20 points and going 100 percent from the field and three-point line.

Yes, the Heat ended up losing that game, but Wiggins was balling out in the second quarter.

People said he was putting up “2K numbers” and were elated to see him end the evening with 30 points and a 2-of-4 record from the three-point line.

Other people said the Golden State Warriors were “robbed” when they gave up Wiggins in February.

Since coming to the Heat, he has averaged 19.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.9 assists.

It must be noted, however, that the Warriors have been thriving since Wiggins’ departure, and the addition of Jimmy Butler has helped them a lot.

Now that he is out from underneath the shadow of Steph Curry, Wiggins might be able to perform better and make a large impact on his new team.

Fans are excited to see what he can achieve in the weeks, months, and possibly years ahead.

But a lot of people reminded fans that the Heat have been in a bad spot lately.

Even though Wiggins did well in Friday’s game, they still lost and have been defeated for 10 consecutive games.

The Heat are the 10th seed in the East, which means they’d qualify for the Play-In Tournament if it started today.

If they get that far, will Wiggins keep playing well, and could he help them in the playoffs?
