Devin Booker Has Honest Admission About Suns’ Season

Right now, no one knows if the Phoenix Suns will earn a spot in the playoffs.

The team has been struggling all season long, although they have now won three games in a row.

The members of the squad are well aware of their troubles and Devin Booker recently gave a blunt assessment of his team.

Speaking with Melissa Rohlin, Booker opened up about his team’s talent and their ability – and inability – to score wins.

“Talent only gets you so far. I’ve been on teams with less talent that found ways to get more wins. It’s just the little things,” Booker said, per Legion Hoops.

There is definitely a lot of talent on the team, especially between Booker and Kevin Durant.

And unlike previous years, they have both been relatively healthy all season long.

Last summer, the front office added a new coach to the team in hopes of getting things back on track, but that hasn’t resulted in a lot of wins.

The Suns are the 10th team in the West and hold a 34-37 record.

They are currently neck-and-neck with the Dallas Mavericks for that 10th seed, which means they are battling hard to just reach the Play-In Tournament.

No matter how the rest of the season goes, the team might face serious changes in the summer.

Durant could be headed for another team, and other stars could be sent packing, too.

Most reports say that Booker will stay, but the people around him could change.

Will the Suns still have the same amount of talent next season, and, more importantly, will they score more wins?
