Pau Cubarsi has admitted he doesn’t yet know if he will be fit to face Osasuna on Thursday with Barcelona in La Liga.
The defender has returned from Spain duty after suffering an ankle knock in Thursday’s 2-2 Nations League draw.
Barcelona have confirmed Cubarsi has an ankle ligament injury and say he will be tested again in 48 hours.
Cubarsi was quizzed on his fitness by fans on Saturday and said only “I don’t know” when asked if he will be fit for the game with Osasuna.
Barcelona do have defensive issues for the game with Cubarsi a doubt, while Inigo Martinez also has a knock but is said to be eager to try and prove his fitness.
There’s also doubt about Ronald Araujo’s availability, although there is a chance he will not feature for Uruguay against Bolivia in their second World Cup qualifier of the current break.
