The Los Angeles Lakers will be taking on the Chicago Bulls later today as the team tries to get back on track in the standings. Los Angeles dropped their past game to the Milwaukee Bucks but they were missing pretty much their entire core group of players.

Entering this game against Chicago, Los Angeles will be looking to keep pace in the Western Conference playoff picture. The Lakers enter this game as the No. 3 seed in the West but the teams are all separated by just a few games.
One loss could drop someone from toward the top down multiple seeds. Each game is crucial at this point in the season and the Lakers have their eyes set on going after another NBA title.
But entering this game, star guard Luka Doncic was listed on the injury report. Doncic has been dealing with some minor issues that have kept him out of games in recent weeks.

Doncic was listed as probable for this contest against the Bulls but will suit up to help his team go after the win tonight.

With Doncic on the floor, the Lakers are a very different team. The star guard gives them someone who can run the entire offense to a tee while also scoring a massive amount of points as well.
The Lakers could be getting star forward LeBron James back for this contest as well and that would give the team a boost. James was listed as questionable heading into the game as he has been out for a few weeks due to a groin injury.

This game against the Bulls is the final one on a home-stand for the Lakers and they will then be heading onto the road for a few matchups. With the playoffs coming quickly, the Lakers will be looking to get everyone healthy to make a real run at everything.
