Wolves players are dotted around the globe as the March international break enters its second week. That doesn’t mean there isn’t a lot happening at Molineux though.
Vitor Pereira is preparing to welcome his travelling pack back to the Midlands, including Matheus Cunha, who was in action for Brazil against Colombia earlier in the week.
And even though the striker is over 5,000 miles away, there have been some key updates on his Molineux future.

Very few expect Cunha to be a Wolves first team player next season, and even less so after news broke that Nottingham Forest will attempt to make him their record signing if they qualify for the Champions League.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s Tricky Trees sit third in the Premier League table, five points clear of Chelsea, and, crucially, six clear of champions Manchester City.
Although there are still nine league games to be played, the team from the City Ground are in a great position to qualify for Europe’s most illustrious club competition, and should they achieve it, Nottingham Forest want to make Cunha their marquee summer signing.

Forward is Wolves’ highest-rated player of the season
On the subject of Cunha — unsurprisingly, the Brazilian is Pereira’s best player of the season.
Cunha ranks highest among all Wolves players with an impressive season-long score of 7.60 on SofaScore.
Fabio Silva likely to be sold in summer
Wolves are likely to sell Fabio Silva in the summer. The young forward is on his fourth loan spell in just three years, and although he is doing well at Las Palmas, he doesn’t appear to have a future under Pereira.
The Old Gold are expected to accept any reasonable offers that are made for the 22-year-old at the end of the season.
Wolves have most players in Brazil squad
Despite not being one of the original 11 Wolves players to be called up for international duty, Joao Gomes has made the Brazil national team.

The South American has replaced Newcastle United’s Bruno Guimaraes in Dorival Junior’s squad for Selecao’s upcoming World Cup Qualifier against Argentina (Mar 26).
Joao Gomes’ inclusion, along with Cunha and Andre, means Wolves now have the most players in Brazil’s national team — beating Real Madrid (2).
Clubs interested in Hwang Hee-chan
Hwang Hee-chan is another player who could depart Wolves in the summer.
The South Korea international has endured a poor season and looks to be coming to the end of his time at Molineux.
If Hwang, along with Cunha and Silva, departs, Pereira, who would then be short of attacking options, could hand Goncalo Guedes an unexpected lifeline.
