“It was really weird because for the first few months I would say I was amazed by it; I didn’t think it was true. Even to this day there are pinch-me moments where I’m like ‘I’m here, I’m living my dream’. I’m living my family’s dream as well. It got to the point where I thought. ‘I’m here now and have to show I can play for this team.”

The Liverpool No.19 added,

“It was leaving the fan boy beside me and thinking. ‘This is my job.’ It gave me more of that hunger to go and make a name for myself and be regarded as a Liverpool player.”

Elliott’s Liverpool future up in the air?

However, since then, Elliott has been on the bench for the following three games and was subbed on in the latter stages.
