Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo remains with the Uruguay squad ahead of the team’s next World Cup qualifier against Bolivia.
There has been speculation that Araujo could miss the game, which will be played at altitude, and return to Barcelona early but that has not happened yet.
Marcelo Bielsa has cut two players from his squad for the match. Giorgian de Arrascaeta and Nicolas de la Cruz are both injured and have been released ahead of the game.
It stil remains to be seen what will happen with Araujo. Bielsa has said he will make changes to his team which could mean Araujo is rested.
There’s also been talk that Barca will charter a plane to get Araujo and Raphinha home quickly and in time for Thursday’s match with Osasuna.
Hansi Flick has all sorts of problems in defence for the match, with Pau Cubarsi and Inigo Martinez struggling with injury and currently doubtful.
