Barcelona are eyeing a move for Liverpool star forward as one of the key targets of the club for the transfer window.
Diaz, 28, is one of those players Liverpool have to decide on real soon. The winger has yet to sign any contract at the club since the one he agreed on after joining from FC Porto. His current weekly wages sit at £55,000 per week, a figure lower than such a player warrants.
There have been rumors that Diaz and his entourage are seeking a new contract for the Colombian with better and improved terms.

Luis Diaz has been linked with a move to join Spanish giants Barcelona. It has been reported that the Catalan outfit are sizing up a move for the Liverpool forward as a key target for the transfer window.
According to AnythingLFC in a post on X,
“Luis Diaz is one of the three-four names on the shortlist at Barcelona. They have a good relationship with people close to the player. Diaz would be open to trying a new experience in Spain.”
Fabrizio Romano in a recent report also explained the possibility of Liverpool leaving Anfield at the end of this season.
“There are concrete possibilities for Diaz to depart at season’s end.”
Barcelona are interested in bringing Luis Diaz to Camp Nou, but the Spanish league leaders still need to decide on if he is the winger they want to sign how much they have remaining in their budget, and also financial fair play rules.
Reports also suggest that Barcelona have a decent relationship with those close to the 28-year-old Liverpool star and Diaz is not ruling out the possibility of having a new footballing experience in the Spanish league.
