As per multiple reports, the Spain international is set to join **Arsenal**this summer. This signing would be a huge addition to the Mikel Arteta’s squad. He has been linked with a move to the north London for a year now. And it seems that he will finally move to the Premier League in the summer transfer window.
They also tried to sign him last summer in 2024. But, Nico eventually decided to stay in Spain. That decision was not hard as his success with the national team in the European Championship. He claimed to have a strong bond with his team. And he then decided to stay in Bilbao.

Other clubs are also interested in the Spanish winger
If the said reports are true, then the north London side have outperformed several other big clubs in signing the striker. Barcelona, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United and Aston Villa are also interested in him.
It is being said that Arsenal are set to trigger Nico’s €58 million release clause. He is expected to be one of the club’s highest-paid players. The coming summer market will be a big one for the English club.
Should he move to the Emirates Stadium, he will be added to the starting eleven straight away. He will be the preferred choice over both Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Jesus in the starting line-up.
