Hibs are keen on the out of contract star with David Gray looking to add to his defensive options in the summer

Hibs are interested in Walsall defender Oisin McEntee.
The 24-year-old centre half is out-of-contract in the summer and has caught the eye of the Easter Road scouting team with his recent performances for the English League Two side.

Sporting director Malky Mackay and his team have already started to do their background checks on the American-born player, who was raised in Ireland and went on to win caps at under-21 level.
He came through the youth ranks of Newcastle United before he moved to Walsall in 2022.
McEntee has already had a taste of Scottish football as he had a season on-loan at Morton when he was at Newcastle.
Hibs boss David Gray is set for a massive overhaul of his squad this summer. having led his team to third place in the league, and is looking to deliver European football.
Hibs did a lot of work in moving players on in the last window but still have a number of players out of contract in the summer.
That should allow Mackay to do major surgery on the squad and cut the wage bill in the process.
The likes of Martin Boyle and Lewis Miller are out-of-contract although the club has one year options they could trigger.
Rocky Bushiri is also up as are Junior Hoilett, Dwight Gayle and Max Boruc.
There are also a number of players out on loan like Nohan Kenneh and Reuben McAllister who are also set to become free agents in the summer.
Hibs face St Johnstone next in the league as they look to consolidate third place and go into the split in as strong a position as possible
They then face Rangers at Ibrox before their final pre-split fixture comes at home to Dundee.
