Alexander Isak has caught the eye of several top clubs following his outstanding performances for Newcastle United.
The Sweden international has scored 23 goals in 33 appearances during this campaign, having registered 25 strikes in 40 outings last season.
Football Insider revealed on 16 February Isak is seen as the “perfect” signing by Liverpool manager Arne Slot and the recruitment team at Anfield.
The 25-year-old got on the scoresheet in Newcastle’s 2-1 victory over Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final on 16 March.
The Mail reported on 17 March Barcelona watched Isak in action during his side’s 1-0 victory over West Ham earlier this month.
Finance expert Stefan Borson exclusively told Football Insider Barcelona are in no position to sign the forward following their well-documented financial struggles.

Borson previously told Football Insider Newcastle will offer Isak a record-breaking contract as they look to tie down his long-term future, with his current deal set to expire in 2028.
Isak made the move to St James’ Park for a club-record £63million fee from Real Sociedad in 2022.

Newcastle want £150m to sell Alexander Isak
Borson insisted Newcastle would demand between £125-150million to sell their star striker this summer.
He told Football Insider: “Barcelona have just announced they’re not going into the stadium this season.
“They had hoped to be back in the Nou Camp. They will be fine in the long term probably, but on paper they’re in no financial position to do a deal like this at all.
“But then in fairness, Barcelona for the last five years have been doing deals that, on any basis, you would think would be impossible, so I don’t know.
“I think it’s very unlikely. I think the fee that Newcastle would want to demand would be probably £125-150million. Why else would you sell him?
“I just think it’s hugely unlikely. But Barcelona are the one club that’s proved any analysis of logical investment wrong.
“By all measures, they should have been bust a long time ago.”

Liverpool in pole position to sign Newcastle top target
Football Insider revealed on 17 March Liverpool are in pole position to sign Marc Guehi after he’s been a top target for Newcastle.
The 24-year-old will have just 12 months left to run on his Crystal Palace contract in June.
This summer could be the last chance to cash in for Oliver Glasner’s side, with Guehi set to make a decision on where his long-term future will lie.
