The Baltimore Ravens and superstar quarterback Lamar Jackson came up short once again during the 2024 NFL season. While they put together a strong all-around year, they didn't have quite enough to make a Super Bowl run.
So far this offseason, the Ravens have signed wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins, re-signed offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley, and added backup quarterback Cooper Rush as three of their bigger moves.
Baltimore adding Hopkins was a nice get for Jackson. Hopkins will help add more firepower to the offense alongside Zay Flowers.
However, if the opportunity presented itself, would the Ravens get aggressive and swing big on a superstar wide receiver via the trade market?
That is exactly what Austen Bundy of The Sporting News has suggested.
In his recent article about potential trade destinations for Miami Dolphins' $90 million star Tyreek Hill, he listed Baltimore as one of his top four trade suitors.
"It feels like no matter which super star Baltimore adds to its roster, it's never enough to get over the championship hump. Hill might be the missing piece," Bundy wrote. "Quarterback Lamar Jackson currently has a solid wide receiver room featuring Zay Flowers, Rashod Bateman and the newly signed Deandre Hopkins. Bateman hasn't topped 800 receiving yards in a season yet but could serve as a deal sweetener in any swap with Miami. Hill's speed, Flowers' hands and Hopkins' veteran wisdom would be a deadly trio in Charm City."
Hill has been a rumored trade candidate all offseason. It still seems likely that he'll begin the 2025 season with the Dolphins.
During the 2024 NFL season with Miami, Hill had a down year. He caught 81 passes for 959 yards and six touchdowns in 17 games.
Those numbers were down from 2023, when he racked up 119 receptions for 1,799 yards and 13 touchdowns in 16 games.
