Ferran Torres is being tipped to start for Barcelona against Osasuna on Thursday when Hansi Flick’s side return to La Liga action.
Hansi Flick had planned to rotate for the original match, which was subsequently postponed, and may do again due to his players’ international commitments.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Ferran was due to start against Osasuna and could get the nod as Robert Lewandowski is struggling with injury.
Lewandowski is still expected to play in Poland’s World Cup qualifier against Malta on Monday, but Barca may want to rest him after that game.
Ferran scored twice in the win over Atletico Madrid before the international break but then missed Spain’s clash with the Netherlands after picking up a knock in training.
He is available for Sunday’s second leg and is expected to feature. The game is being played at Mestalla which should make it a special evening for the former Valencia player.
