The Golden State Warriors aim to rebound from a recent setback as they prepare to face the Miami Heat on Tuesday. In their last game, the Warriors fell to the Atlanta Hawks with a final score of 124-115.
In that matchup, the Warriors were without star guard Stephen Curry, sidelined due to a left pelvic contusion sustained in the previous game against the Toronto Raptors.
Jimmy Butler stepped up in Curry's absence, leading the team with 25 points and 8 assists. Despite Butler's efforts, the Warriors struggled defensively, allowing the Hawks to shoot 57% from the field.
This loss brought the Warriors' season record to 41-30, positioning them No. 6 in the Western Conference standings.
Prior to this defeat, Golden State had been on a strong run, winning 14 of their last 16 games since acquiring Butler in February.
Jimmy downplays Miami return
Reflecting on his time with the Heat, Butler remarked, "We was alright, we didn't win nothing like we was supposed to. We made some cool runs, we had some fun, I think that's all we did."

Looking ahead, the Warriors will face a Miami team known for their defensive tenacity and disciplined play.
The Heat, led by Bam Adebayo, Tyler Herro, and ex-Warriors player Andrew Wiggins, have had problems remaining competitive. For Miami, this game could be a great opportunity to make it to the play-in tournament.
For the Warriors, limiting turnovers and controlling the game's tempo will be crucial to secure a victory on the road.
With Butler's competitive mindset and the Warriors eager to bounce back, the upcoming matchup against the Heat promises to be an intense battle.
