**Norwich City Women 2 London Bees 1**

**Norwich City Women extended their unbeaten run to 10 games after coming from behind to beat London Bees at The Nest.**

The two-week break City had prior to this match did not appear to have helped them in the first half, as their performance lacked urgency.

Bees created a number of chances inside the first half hour, with City stopper Sarah Quantrill making two excellent saves and Sam Lanza somehow firing over the bar from close range.

The visitors eventually made their pressure tell in the 35th minute when Lanza finished neatly from inside the box, meaning City found themselves behind at the break for the first time in 2025.

Their response after the interval was superb, with Natasha Snelling poking them level less than 30 seconds into the second half.

Only six minutes later, City completed their comeback when Ceri Flye nodded home Lauren Tomlinson’s corner.

City thought they had killed the game off in the 69th minute when Tia Ginn failed to hold onto a looping ball, but Megan Todd was adjudged to have fouled the Bees goalkeeper.

In the end, the disallowed goal did not matter, as City held on to win their fifth straight match.

Norwich City: Quantrill, Daviss, Flye, Strauss, Tomlinson, Todd (c), Morran, Cook, Symonds, Kennard, Snelling. Subs: Bishop, Smith, Hailes, Shaw, Booty.
